Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of relevant experience or greater, including customer service, administrative work, office and clerical work.
• Experience providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of court operation work in a specific area of court case processing.
• Perform advanced clerical functions and handle multiple case types.
• Assist attorneys, parties, self-represented litigants, judges and the public by answering questions in person, by phone, mail or electronically.
• Provide courtroom support by working with judges, court reporters and other justice partners.
• Review, enter and update case information using an electronic case processing system and related applications.
• Schedule and maintain court calendars.
• Receive, process and receipt payments due to the court.
• Attend court and assist by calling cases, taking notes and handling documents in the courtroom.
• May perform duties of an Electronic Recording Equipment Operator (EREO).
