Job summary

The Iowa Judicial Branch in Carroll County seeks a Judicial Operations Clerk to provide clerical support and customer service for efficient court operations and accurate records. This role processes orders, warrants, motions, and related documents while handling payments and public inquiries.

The successful candidate will learn EDMS and court software, communicate professionally with diverse users, and maintain confidentiality. Travel to other counties may be required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to assist court users in-person and by phone.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of court records.
• Learn and navigate court record-specific computer programs (EDMS).
• Perform basic court operations and documentation tasks.
• Assist with courtroom support and travel to other counties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries from the public, attorneys, and court employees.
• Review, process, update, and publish documents and records for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform routine paper and electronic filing in accordance with procedures.
• Assist with cashier duties and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Support courtroom operations including device setup and digital recording management.
