Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with relevant detention/correctional experience.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom and Skype.
BluHorse familiarity is preferred.
Knowledge of detention center rules and court procedures.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between Municipal Courts and Wyandotte County Detention Center.
Ensure jail inmates appear in Municipal Court as scheduled.
Attend all Municipal Court sessions.
Enter case disposition data in BluHorse.
Monitor and report compliance with court and commitment orders.
Coordinate with shift managers and Court Clerk staff on docket and paperwork needs.
Track inmate housing locations and upcoming court dates.
Monitor warrants issued after booking and cases not booked in.
Enter ticket court dates into BluHorse.
Maintain monthly jail and court activity statistics and reports.
