Job summary

State of North Carolina – Clerk of Superior Court in Stanly County is seeking a Deputy Clerk (S) in the Civil Division to process filings, manage case records, and assist the public in court operations.

The salary range is $37,404.00 to $60,502.00 annually. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and being at least 18 years old; experience in a courthouse is preferred. New hires may be paid above the minimum rate depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Stanly County residents preferred.
• Experience in a courthouse or law office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process cash receipts and manage financial transactions.
• Review, prepare, and process criminal and civil cases including divorces and juvenile matters.
• Process cases, produce records, and maintain case files in the courtroom during court sessions.
• Establish and maintain case files for adoptions, foreclosures, and other proceedings.
• Provide information to attorneys, Guardians ad Litem, DSS, and DPS while maintaining confidentiality.
