Job summary

Colorado Judicial Branch is seeking an entry-level case processing assistant to provide customer service at the counter, by phone, and online. You will create new cases, process pleadings, accept payments, and assist in training for more advanced responsibilities.

This is a part-time position, working 12 hours per week with Friday afternoons and Saturdays as primary shifts. It is term-limited for about 24 months, with possible extension depending on needs and funding, and recruitment may include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to process paperwork accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with paperwork and assign case numbers.
• Receive and process incoming correspondence via email, mail, e-filing, and in-person filings.
• Direct patrons to appropriate services and resources.
• Maintain case documentation and update the case management system.
• Process payments and reconcile cash drawer.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail.
• Train within court procedures.
