The State of Missouri invites applications for an Apprentice Court Clerk at the Missouri Circuit Courts. This entry-level position works with an electronic filing system and learns general office knowledge while following court policies.

Duties include case processing, reviewing documents, preparing court notices, handling financial records, and supporting a circuit judge. Minimum qualifications: an Associate’s degree or 60 semester hours; strong customer service skills.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in a related field or at least 60 semester hours from an institution of higher learning.
• Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.
• Ability to perform case processing, maintain records, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Performs case processing in receiving and initiating case files; reviews judgments, prepares warrants, summonses, garnishments, and docket control.
• Reviews legal documents for filing information and determines required processing per court rules.
• Performs accounting duties: receiving and disbursing monies, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.
• Prepares court documents, calendars, notices, and coordinates flow of documents for court assignments.
