The Alaska Court System (ACS) is recruiting for a Court Case Manager 2 (Range 12) at the Seward District Court. The incumbent will be trained as an in-court clerk and may assist with special projects and provide backup support across court operations.

The position serves as a primary contact for the public, handling court filings, data entry, scheduling, notices, and coordination of jury operations. Strong customer service and confidentiality are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to Court Case Manager 1.
• High school diploma or GED plus completion of a two-year paralegal curriculum.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary contact for the public, assisting court users, attorneys, and staff.
• Process a wide variety of court filings and maintain case records in the case management system.
• Schedule hearings, prepare notices and court documents, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Administer jury operations: qualify jurors, maintain records, coordinate logistics, assist with trials.
• Perform administrative, financial, and records management tasks including payments, deposits, and balance of cash.
