Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, child development or related field.
• 2+ years’ professional experience in the social services, therapeutic or counseling field, or related experience working with children and families.
• Completion of 40 hours mediation training within 6 months of hiring and 5 Continuing Mediation Education credits annually.

Responsibilities

• Conduct court-based mediation in a confidential manner to resolve disputes.
• Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.
• Promote confidence in mediation and help parties understand needs and interests.
• Draft case agreements/outcome reports and ensure understanding of the agreement.
• Collect data and assist with data maintenance for completed sessions.
