Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation seeks a Case Manager to support defendants in the Manhattan Felony ATI Court. You will provide clinically-informed case management and referrals to community services, addressing housing, health, trauma, and other needs.

This role involves collaboration with judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and providers, coordinating intakes and programming, and ensuring accurate case documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–4 years of social service experience.
• Experience in a court or criminal justice setting preferred.
• Experience with drug/alcohol treatment, mental health, trauma-informed approaches preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; knowledge of New York City resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically-informed case management to ATI participants addressing substance use, mental health, housing, and other needs.
• Make community-based referrals for social services.
• Monitor compliance with service mandates and coordinate with providers.
• Provide court updates and participate in interdisciplinary case conferences.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for intakes, assessments, and programming.
• Assist with data entry in the electronic case management system and records review.
• Attend court days as needed to support clients and staff.
