Job summary

The Center for Justice Innovation in Queens, NY is seeking a Case Manager to lead psychoeducational groups and provide one-on-one case management for participants in the ATI program, reporting to the Coordinator of Adult Operations. This on-site, full-time role focuses on trauma-informed and strength-based support.

Responsibilities include counseling, referrals, data entry, coordination with service providers, and collaboration with court partners to support ATI participants; requires bilingual

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-4 years’ experience in case management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience in a court or criminal justice setting preferred.
• Experience with drug/alcohol treatment, mental health services, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Candidate must work collaboratively with court personnel and partner agencies.
• Comfortable working with adolescents, adults, and families.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and strong writing ability.
• Ability to engage with diverse backgrounds in a culturally competent and gender-affirming manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, clinically informed case management services and referrals.
• Coordinate referrals to address housing, health, trauma, and educational/vocational needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to a short-term caseload.
• Assist with data entry and ensure accuracy in the electronic case management system.
• Maintain case notes, assessments, and program outcomes data.
• Supervise and monitor ATI participants through regular contacts and meetings.
• Coordinate with service providers to facilitate referrals and follow up.
• Provide connections to housing, health insurance, education, and vocational resources.
• Conduct intakes and needs-based screenings for new clients.
• Co-facilitate skills-based groups based on needs assessment.
• Establish linkages with community partners for interventions.
• Assist with grant reporting, compliance monitoring, and court coverage.
