Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including medical exams. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Availability Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, based on operational needs.

Pay Transparency

This range estimates the current starting salary across locations. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and other factors. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation and benefits such as health insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay

Hourly rate: $25.88; Overtime: $25.88 - $36.50
