Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and courier skills.

Job Conditions

Maintain a neat appearance due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record as per state requirements. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
