Job Duties
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for vehicle operation are detailed in policy 4-48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license as per state requirements and have a good driving record. This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.

Courier Swing DOT, full-time, Monday - Saturday, variable shifts (AM/PM).

Pay

$21.36 an hour.
