Job Duties
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods skills.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Operates a company vehicle; refer to policy 4-48 for specific requirements. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.

Schedule and Certification

AM shift, Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 6:00 pm; hours vary based on business needs. Must obtain a Class C Non CDL license within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is an estimate of the current starting salary across potential locations, from the lowest to the highest level, based on experience, market, and location. Actual pay depends on various factors. Eligible employees may receive additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $23.50 - $36.50 per hour

Additional Details: Monday - Friday, 5:30 am - 6:30 pm; CDL within 90 days.
