Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking a courier to operate vehicles for efficient delivery and pickup of packages. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and some courier experience. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to lift packages. Flexible shifts are available from Monday to Saturday.

Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier techniques.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including a medical exam. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record as per policy 4-48. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Monday - Saturday variable shifts, AM/PM shifts.

Pay Transparency

$22.43 an hour.

Work schedule includes Monday - Saturday with variable shifts in the AM or PM.
