Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

At least six (6) months of courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations, including a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type and have a good driving record as per company policy. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe operation.

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 7:35 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, hours vary.
