Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods skills.

Job Conditions

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.

Preferred Qualifications & Compensation

This role offers a salary range of $24.57-$37.40, depending on experience and location. The company provides health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement. The compensation range is an estimate and may vary based on multiple factors.
