Job Duties:

1. Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Performs related customer service functions and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

• High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience:

• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions:

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA regulations.
• Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work alertly and safely in a constant state of alertness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pay: $21.36 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday - Saturday, variable shifts.
