Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a transportation driver based in Eureka, IL. The role involves delivering mail, supplies, bank deposits, pharmaceuticals, laundry and lab specimens between Carle facilities and to external sites.

You will ensure the vehicle and equipment are clean and well-maintained, pick up mail as assigned, and resolve customer-related issues. The position includes occasional stat runs to off-site locations and weekly vehicle cleaning.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois driver’s license (ILSOS).
• Experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Transports mail, supplies, bank deposits, pharmaceuticals, laundry and lab specimens between Carle and other facilities.
• Keeps assigned vehicle and equipment clean and in good repair.
• Picks up US mail as assigned.
• Resolves customer-related issues and locates lost or missing items.
• Conducts stat runs between Carle Eureka Hospital and off-site locations as needed.
• Weekly sprays van with cleaners and documents cleaning on the form.
