Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages, maintaining courteous service and ensuring conformance to FedEx features of service. You will drive vehicles not regulated by FMCSA 391 and perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum education is a High School Diploma/GED with no prior experience required. Must be 21+, able to lift 50 lbs, and read/speak English for traffic and safety communications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
