Mon - Sat PM, day off TBD (Mon - Fri PM, Sat AM)

Job Duties

1. Driver / operator of company vehicles.
2. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
3. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Please note: If your current driver’s license does not date back to December 2021 or earlier, you will not be eligible for the position. The license must show 3 consecutive years of driving history with no gaps.
