Job summary

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District in Brawley, CA seeks an experienced RN to provide Couplet Care postpartum and newborn support. You will monitor maternal recovery, administer meds, educate families, and ensure safe transitions from delivery.

You may float to L&D, NICU, or Pediatrics; must hold CA RN license, ACLS/NRP, and bring strong communication and decision-making skills; previous postpartum/newborn experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license with current ACLS and NRP.
• 1–2 years of postpartum or newborn care experience preferred.
• Ability to float to L&D, NICU or Pediatrics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal recovery, monitor vitals and pain, and administer medications.
• Educate mothers on postpartum and newborn care, breastfeeding, and safety.
• Support newborn assessments, feeding patterns, and transitions to couplet care.
• Float to related departments and ensure continuity of care during staffing needs.
