Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, provide care and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role involves nine days on, three off, with progression to a placed houseparent in a long-term student home. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement options, plus relocation assistance and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsabilités

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
