Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person couple. You will reside in on-campus student homes, supervise a group of 8-13 students, and provide care, guidance, and structured activities that support academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role requires marriage of at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with minimal alcohol. Housing and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role for married couples (min 2 years).
• Both spouses must be 27+ years old.
• Maximum of three dependents in the home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Pets allowed: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel visits.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational plans.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
