Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8–13 students, guiding academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, devotions, and transportation planning. Comprehensive benefits and relocation/training support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples.
• Both spouses ≥27 years old.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmentally appropriate activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
