Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, and supervision for 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role involves daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance. A 9-on / 3-off schedule evolves into a placed team living with the same students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
