Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on‑campus student homes, guiding a group of 8–13 students and fostering a structured, family‑like environment for academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initially, eight to nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later, transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Benefits include housing, healthcare, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Plan and participate in development and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
