Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a married couple to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on our Hershey, PA campus. You will reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medications, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
