Job summary

Milton Hershey School on-campus is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students.

The roles include daily supervision, scheduling, devotional leadership, and transportation to activities. This unique position requires a married couple, both 27+, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.

Skills
