Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing role, couples live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of about 8–13 students, helping them thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Initially, duties follow a nine-on, three-off schedule, with weekdays offering free time when students are in school.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
