Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. Each couple will care for a group of 8-13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, devotional activities, and coordinating transportation. Qualified couples will be 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
