Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking committed married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. You will supervise, mentor, and care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home environment while managing daily routines and activities.

The role requires leading devotions, coordinating schedules, and ensuring student wellbeing. Candidates must be married for at least two years and be 27+. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple requirement for the role.
• Both spouses must be at least 27 years old.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to be certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff act as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in activities with them.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially supporting various homes and adjusting to a placed home role.
