Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and care for a group of 8–13 students.

Couples provide daily supervision, guidance, supervision of routines, and participate in activities, devotions, Chapel, and budgeting/reporting. This role offers housing, meals, benefits, and paid training; relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and families.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational planning.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
