Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this on-campus role, you live in a student home and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students.

The position includes housing, meals during duty, and comprehensive benefits. A two-person team, both spouses must be married at least two years and 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
