Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live in on-campus student homes, supervise a group of 8-13 students, and provide guidance, support, and a structured, family-like environment that fosters academic, emotional, and social development.

The position follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with progression to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
