Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role involves living with a group of 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, and guidance, and supporting student development daily.

Responsibilities include mentoring, scheduling, wellness oversight, transportation, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. Competitive compensation includes housing, meals, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple for the role, married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; able to be certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Coordinate transportation to activities and plan development/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
