Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, and manage daily routines. The role moves from nine-on/three-off shifts to a placed home with a consistent cohort.

Salary is $46,917 per person (about $180,000 per couple with housing, meals, and benefits). Comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
