Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks Full‑time Flex Houseparents (two married adults) to live on campus and care for 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, wellness checks, transportation, and leading devotions.

Both spouses must be at least 27 years old and legally married for two years. Couples will transition from initial duties in multiple homes to a placed home with a consistent group of students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
