Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medications, scheduling, transportation, devotions, and budgeting. Initial phase covers multiple homes, then placement in a single student home with same group of students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in programs.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
