Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents in a two-person couple, living on campus to care for 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transport, and devotional activities.

This two-spouse role requires a long-term commitment, age 27+, and a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with a focus on student development and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers in youth-focused settings.
• Couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
