Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision for a group of approximately 8–13 students.

This unique role creates a structured, family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social development. The schedule features nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a path to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreational programs.
• Lead daily devotions and transport to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
