Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and guiding 8–13 students daily.

You will oversee routines, medications, transportation to activities, and lead devotions while supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social growth; a nine-on/three-off schedule initially, then transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for coupled spouses; married at least two years.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and plan developmental activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
