Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA invites married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social development.

Initial duties cover daily supervision, routines, medications, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning engaging developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
