Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to live in on-campus homes and care for 8–13 students. You’ll supervise daily activities, coordinate schedules, and support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like setting.

Applicants should be legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+, and possess a high school diploma or GED. On-duty housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and plan development/recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
