Job summary

TEXAS TOOL BELT LLC is seeking a County Recruiter to drive local hiring for the GOTV campaign in the Houston area. You will source, screen, and onboard canvassers and field staff to meet county staffing targets set by the Senior Recruiter.

Responsibilities include posting local job listings, attending events, building relationships with community organizations, coordinating interviews, onboarding papers, and tracking pipelines. Expect a fast-paced, seasonal schedule with travel within the county.

Qualifications

• Prior recruiting, canvassing, or community outreach experience preferred.
• Strong local network or familiarity with the assigned county's communities.
• Comfortable with high-volume, fast-paced seasonal hiring.
• Reliable transportation; willingness to attend local events and recruiting sites.

• Partner with the County Campaign Manager to understand real-time staffing needs.
• Flag hiring gaps or shortages early, especially heading into peak canvass weeks.
• Maintain accurate local hiring records and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Local Recruiting

Source and screen canvasser and field staff candidates within the assigned county

Post and manage local job listings; attend community events, job fairs, and recruiting sites as needed

Screening & Onboarding

Conduct initial candidate screens and coordinate interviews with Canvass Managers/Team Leads

Compensation & Schedule

Salaried position; estimated range $1100 - $1250 weekly, depending on experience

Schedule flexes around canvass season, with increased hours as Election Day approaches
