Qualifications

• Two years of Fiscal Technician experience and accounting exposure.
• Six college credits in accounting required.
• Five years of bookkeeping experience with accounting knowledge.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training including accounting credits.

Responsibilities

• Report Preparation: assist in preparing monthly fiscal reports.
• Financial Analysis: analyze financial records and apply accounting principles.
• Account Maintenance: post entries to general ledger and prepare adjustments.
• Reconciliation Duties: monitor, reconcile, and correct funds.
• Fiscal Processing: complete accounts payable processing, payroll allocations, and distributions.
• Audit Support: prepare materials for audits and track budgets.

Education

Two years as a Fiscal Technician

Six college credits in accounting

Five years of bookkeeping experience

Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience

Bachelor's or higher in business with accounting credits

Equivalent combination of experience and training with accounting credits
