Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated Fiscal Technician to perform complex fiscal duties supporting Fayette County Children and Youth. The role emphasizes writing, organization, and data management, with opportunities for telework after supervisor approval.

The position offers a starting salary of $45,235 annually, benefits including retirement, health insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and periodic pay increases. Work hours are 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Fiscal Assistant, or 3 years maintaining fiscal records with accounting principles.
• High school diploma or an associate degree in accounting or business administration.
• Valid driver''s license; PA residency; ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of agency regulations and procedures for Children and Youth Services and Juvenile Probation.
• Build relationships with caseworkers, supervisors, providers, and partner agencies to exchange needed information.
• Gather and check documentation to determine eligibility for TANF and IV-E programs.
• Track changes in household circumstances and maintain required forms and fiscal documentation.
• Enter information in CAPS, PEAPS, and other systems with accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in processing invoices, purchase orders, adoption and foster data, and payroll tasks as required.
