The Washington County in West Bend, Wisconsin is looking for a part-time County Clerk Assistant responsible for providing clerical support functions within the County Clerk Department. This role includes duties such as reconciling cash transactions, preparing marriage license applications, and assisting visitors.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, one year of office experience, and proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Working hours are from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday.

Under the routine supervision of the Chief Deputy County Clerk and County Clerk, responsible for providing clerical support functions for a program, or programs, within the Department.
None.
Decisions concerning work priorities and other daily activities are made independently.
There is interaction with other County Departments, the public, and others outside of the organization.
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, business English and spelling, departmental policies and procedures, specific departmental responsibilities. Ability to type documents accurately, process documents appropriately, and interact effectively with co workers. Able to fulfill physical demands of job, sensory demands (seeing and hearing) and cognitive demands (concentration, conceptualization, memorization).
High School Diploma or GED and one year of previous office experience including computer experience with proficiency in Windows, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
