Eau Claire County is seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to support the Sheriff’s Office in managing civil process flow, record-keeping, and billing for division services. You will coordinate service of process papers and court‑ordered actions while serving as a liaison with private attorneys and other agencies.
You will also generate affidavits, prepare notices and bills, and provide general clerical support to Administrative Services.
Position provides clerical support services for the Sheriff’s Office and staff and performs duties to coordinate the flow of various forms of Civil Process through the Sheriff’s Office and among the District Attorney's Office, the Courts, Corporation Counsel, the Civil Process Division, and other agencies as appropriate. Also responsible for maintaining accurate records for purposes of legal documentation, generating billing, and audit; coordinating Sheriff’s sales, billing for Civil Process Division services, monitoring for past‑due accounts, and conducting initial follow‑up.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual is based on years of service with the County, starting at 6.4 hours accruing each pay period (20.8 days per year), with the maximum accrual rate of 35.75 days per year.
