Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in accounting or business administration with emphasis in accounting, economics or finance; 3+ years of experience.
• Equivalent mix of experience and training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, establish and submit Riley County Operating budget to the State of Kansas under direction of the County Administrator and Board.
• Manage Capital Improvement Program and operating budgets for multiple funds and departments.
• Prepare annual personnel and benefits budgets with HR Director; ensure accuracy of financial documents.
• Present monthly cash flow reports for CIP, Building Fund, Economic Development and Half Cent Sales Tax funds.
• Lead Budget and Planning Committee and coordinate with Financial Advisor, County Clerk and Treasurer.
